How to use an Insulin Pen?

Attach a new needle: Attach a new needle to the pen each time you inject. (check expiry)
Prime the pen: Remove air from the pen by dialing up two units, pointing the pen up, and pressing the plunger until insulin comes out.
Choose an injection site: Inject into a clean, dry area on your abdomen, thighs, or buttocks. Rotate injection sites.
Inject: Hold the pen at a right angle to your skin, push the needle in, and slowly push the plunger until the dose is delivered.
Dispose of the needle: Put the used needle into a sharps bin.
Store the pen: Put the cap back on the pen and store it at room temperature
